It's been a while, but I want to start this up again.

7:40am my cell phone alarm goes off....I get dressed, get my stuff that I packed the night before and head out to the chilly, windy morning air
8am meet 2 cute senior girls for a photo shoot at the greenbelt around the corner. It was warm yesterday, too bad it was cold today.
9am still location hopping with pictures
10:30 home to my fam....try to warm up
10:45 eat several of the crepes that Michael made for the morning Jamboree
11 dump all my pictures on the computer, chat with everyone about the morning
12 michael goes on a bike ride, kids got bundled to jump on the trampoline, I look through the pictures I took
1 Michael home, kids still playing outside (though they were in and out often)
1:30 sit around the table for lunch and hot chocolate
2pm kids go back outside to jump some more, bringing their blankets, pillows, and stuffed animals on the trampoline with them.
Michael calls the boys in for a haircut
3 boys shower individually
3 kids all outside jumping in the cold again
3:30 Michael and I tackle our bathroom linen closet--purge 2 big garbage bags of stuff
4:30 get ready for our date...edit a few pictures from the morning
5 go pick up the babysitter, Jenna Cox
5:15 head out with Michael on our date
5:30 meet the Broughs at Texas Roudhouse
yum yum food, i was so hungry: Free appetizer, we got yummy tator skins
I got ribs, soooo yummy!
7pm we head over to Main Event and play glow in the dark miniature golf. It was really fun with lots of laughs. Mostly at mine and Jessica's similar stinky skills and at our mens impressive skills on the course.
8:15 finish....try to bowl, but its an hour wait
head over to Billiards and play for an hour
Similar athletic skills as mentioned above
9:15pm part ways in the chilly parking lot
9:30 home to our babysitter and kids in bed, hooray!
I drive the sitter home and try to drop off the redbox movie, but the machine is broken
wait on hold for nearly 30 minutes to get codes to get a free movie our next 2 times
10 watch the Office with MSD on the computer
10:30 go to bed

7:30 Michael kisses me goodbye on the way out to his Sunday morning meeting, I roll over and go back to sleep as usual
7:45am Alyssa wake sme up
8am kitchen microwave timer goes off, my request for Michael to wake me up (last week I woke at 8:50 am and scrambled out the door in 10 minutes).
8:10 send the boys to shower, eat breakfast
8:20 by shower was cold:(
8:30 all 3 kids dressed, working on their church bags (scriptures, paper, church book)
8:40 I'm getting myself ready--wearing the dress I made with Debra last week
8:50 out the door
9am get to church, Michael saves us a choice bench
Sacrament Meeting: nice and quiet and calm, all 3 kids do well, its been well over a year since we've had to take a young one out for noise--that will change with a baby.
Sunday School in the gym
R.S. I held a baby girl twin in the foyer, trying to relax her--she finally fell asleep
12 head home alone in the van. If Michael comes home after church, the kids like to go with him and we race--I won today.
12:30 eat my leftover ribs
lounge around
make Andes mint cookies
2:30 take a nap for the first time in 2 months (I get too groggy and can't do it unless i have something to be up for)
3:30 Lights come over for treats and chatting
5:30pm Lights leave, M was supposed to home teach, but it was cancelled
6 Michael takes Tyler to home teach as his companion
Matthew, Alyssa, and I play the peanut butter and jelly card game
Watch Mormon and Moroni church movie
7 Michael and Tyler home, eat roasted potatoes for dinner (kids don't like potatoes, its all we had, in order to show them they are good)
7:30 Scriptures, prayer, chat and work on Articles of Faith
7:45 kids off to bed, talk to Grandpa Duke a few on the phone

A week
We had swim lessons all week at 9:40 am the kids are swimming amazingly.
Monday we drove down to South Austin with our friend Jessica to go to lunch at BJ's I'd never been there before, we got yummy deep dish pizza and Pizzookie's for dessert (cookie pizza).
We got home around 3pm and vegged
We then went in the evening to the Round Rock Express Baseball game from 7-10pm then got mcdonalds ice cream cones on the drive home
Tuesday after swim lessons we did jobs around the house, went to take pictures of alyssa in her black and pink outfit that i got for her birthday...pulled the boys away from a dead bat on the ground (so far, no rabies to report). We ran to wash hands. I bribed them with RR donuts after and then we had to run to HEB to get food from a near empty fridge. At 1:30 tyler had piano and we ment stacy and nathan at the park, then at 2pm went to Debra's house for sewing time. The kids played amazingly for 3 hours while we chatted and i sewed buttons on abigails pinky. mac and cheese and watermelon for dinner that night. Michael and I try to secure hotels in san diego (lotta cash) but didn't quite yet. Tried to use Discover cash back $$$ but too many loopholes. Sang happy birthday to Kirk.
Wednesday after swim lessons (i read Eclipse and chatted with gretchen at lessons while adoring my children who are improving their swim skills by leaps and bounds) I purchased a 5D and paid for overnight shipping. we had to hurry and change to go to gymnastics. The kids love to go and i enjoy sitting and watching. Talked to stacey A. about possibly getting their time share for san diego trip. Zane came over to play with kids while I edited pictures from 1-3. At 3 were were going to go swim with Stacy/Nathan but she was sick. I had to finish the lasagna for us and the molina's so that was fine. 5:30 eat lasagna and fresh pineapple/yogurt with family. 6 run dinner to molina's with baby girl gift. Home. Michael works on the fridge, I read my book and computer time.
Thursday Alyssa puked a few times in the night, but never got a fever and was fine in the morning. I had to cancel taking pictures of baby molina as to not get her sick, but then we think AJ had food poisoning or something. It was the last day of swim practice and the kids were so excited that they accomplished the goals on their checklist from their coach, Bryce. Boys swam on their backs and swam the lenght of the pool, so fun! We chilled at home to help AJ recouperate and to wait for my 5D to arrive. I prayed that I wouldn't miss the UPS guy and when was supposed to take the kids at 1 to a play date, I linger just a little longer and UPS came at 1:10. I was SO happy and felt it an answer to prayer. I left the box and took all 3 kids to the Bairds (alyssa seemed fine all day, so i went for it). While they played, I ran errands for the cali trip we go on tomorrow. Got the boys $1 happy meal transformer toys at mcdonalds (went to 4 stores, got 4 different guys) got the ladybug saudered onto my charm bracelet and got smelly hand sanitizer for the plane and a wal mart run. All in about 2 hours. I got the kids at about 3:45, came home, opened my 5D box, played a bit, and took it to molina's at 5:30 to take pictures of baby girl. 6:30 home pack, get kids ready for bed, scriptures, prayer. 7:15 michael goes to his meeting and i jump on the computer to edit canyon lake pictures and pack in my room while the convert from RAW to JPG. Sang happy birthday to Alayna

i am SO excited about the presents! I start on Saturday

tyler and i have an outing
2:40 dr. fitzpatricks office for my "annual" while Tyler reads his chapter book in the lobby. Stress about insurance, almost have to pay out of pocket, but ok
3:45 race to tylers dr. appt. get there late
wait an hour...teach him to do Sudoku in the lobby
4:45 get in the office with dermatologist..numbing and taking off more of his bumpy legion/mole
Tyler was sooo brave! I sang "i am a child of god" in his ear as he whispered "ow, ow, ow" but was soo tough. The doctor said he was tougher than most adults and ALL children. They cut out a perfect circle to get all the extra tissue out and then stiched it up with 3 stiches. He did awesome!
All the nurses and doctors said so:)
5:25 we leave...stop at wendy's for a frostie and hamburger
matthew was sad when we got home, tyler shared:)
Tyler was so excited to tell michael about how the doctor said he was so brave
dinner with fam
6:30 michael helped me shred chicken...teaching enrichment on mexican tacos
6:45 to class...10 people to eat tacos also taught with Adriana Vargas

10:15 drop off disc of baby Sophie blessing to Michele
early to gym, take kids to park down the road...talk to Jen in DC about their new home
11 enroll all 3 kids in summer gymnastics, fun hour of tumbling, talk to Karen, Emily, Becca on the side, talk to car dealership as they tell me how much $$$ our car will be to fix (1K)
12:15 leave gym, drive up to dealership to look for my wallet in our van (karen spotted me $20 just in case)
12:30 yay, our prayers are answered..found my wallet!
Happy Meal for kids at McD's while I get chipotle burrito...play at the geargetown wood park and have our picnic (summer fun jar activity)
1:30 leave the park and head to Target
find a few dresses for myself and bday present for tylers friend

3 take kids to snow cones (as promised from day before--they were so good with all the van changing and running to dealership)
3:30 home to rest and relax....

Wow, what a day!
7:30am call the Mazda dealership about fixing our car (can't go on the planned morning walk with Jessica)
8:30 try to start the car (the key wouldn't come out of the ignition last night) and it was dead--then the key came out.
Called Jackie and Heidi to see if they could pick us up and take us to party (we can't all fit in any one persons car with their kids)
8:45am Whoops, alyssa tries to reach a bag of pretzels on the counter and down comes last nights dirty dinner casserole dish to the ground....crashing shards of glass everywhere
I sternly tell her to get out of the kitchen (so she won't step in glass) and she gets her feelings hurt and starts to cry and walk away...oh well...I'll talk to her in a minute
clean up the wet, nasty glass: sweep, mop, vacuum
Talk to Aj and explain why I had to quickly tell her to get out...so she won't get hurt

get us dressed
find alyssa in my bathroom putting on my make up (isn't she too young for this?)
9:45 heidi comes, and tyler sits in between her boys in her car
9:50 jackie comes and matthew jumps in the back with her boys while alyssa sits by "baby brooky"
10:10 we all arrive at the mall for Xander's birthday party...a jumpy place
kids jump, I run out to a few stores
chat with friends
11 upstairs to eat cake and ice cream, i run to a few more stores
12 wind down, head to cars
12:30 home, heidi trys to help me jump my car, but I can't get it out of the garage, won't go into neutral...run to clairs to look for longer jumper cables, call russ for help, etc. no dice
send her home
12:30 listen to voice mail that I signed up to feed the Sister Missionaries tonight
12:45 tyler has his first piano lesson in 45 min. try to call 5 or 6 people for rides and only one person was home...she had extras at her house and it wouldn't work
1:25 call piano teacher and leave message about our dead car
1:30 put on Madagascar for the kids while I try to unwind on the computer IM with michael about the situation.
1:35 call AAA to come jump start my car
1:45 piano teacher calls to see if we remember the lesson and I tell her about the message I left that she didn't hear. I feel bad, but she is really understanding and offers a 3:30 slot if we can get the car fixed
2:05 AAA is fast and starts the jump and diagnosis (while I chat online with michael)
the car starts, but the key won't come out again, AAA guy says I need to take it in somewhere and get a new ignition
2:20 I let the car sit idle in our driveway...Michael would flip, but oh well.
3:10 car still idle, kids movie is over, I tell 'em to get shoes on and get in the car
3:30 drop tyler off at piano...drive around with matthew and alyssa and stop by candida's house
tell her my scenario and that I'm gonna take it to the dealership and just rent a car...she offers her white mini van (she just got a new van and they haven't sold the old one yet).
wow...how nice...I take her up on it
4 go get tyler from his first lesson (he was all smiles)
4:10 back to candida's, she sends 3 of her kids to a neighbors and follows me to the dealership up a few miles north on the interstate
4:30 drop off the car, unload my kids, load them into her new van
BREATHE
4:45 back to her house, get her white van, load my kids into THAT one
hurry home b/c Sister missionaries come to dinner at 6
5 my neighbor Clair offers to pick up anything at the store for me and I tell her french bread and 2 frozen apple juices
5:15 make spaghetti casserole and mini choco cookies
bread and juice delivered by clair's husband, Brad

5:50 Sisters come just a bit early
we finish cleaning the kitchen
6 sit down to dinner
nice chat, but I have a headache
6:30 they shared a message about Abinidi and ask the kids if they know who he is, Matthew says, "He was killed by the bad King Noah" and Tyler says "by fire" and the Sister says, "but his message was heard by a good Priest of Noah" and Tyler says, "Alma" to which they amazingly said, "yes, wow you really know this one" to which I just sat and smiled:)
7 they left...time to do our "fun jar" activity that never got done b/c of all the chaos: blindfold taste testing...it was a lot of fun, thinking of different things to put into each others mouths...a test of trust, too. Tyler and Matthew really got into to:)
7:25 Michael got the kids ready for bed, I took Tylenol, laid on the couch for a minute
we read scriptures, prayed, and sent the kids to bed
7:30 Alyssa and I watched a few minutes of "mommy's show" and then I walked her and Strawberry back to bed singing "popcorn popping" all the way back. As I said goodbye, she reminded me as she does every single night (doy=door) "Leave my doy open, leave the brothers doy open, leave your doy open, leave everyones doy open." It makes me smile coming from her cute 2 year old voice.
7:45 I get on the computer, my mind numbing activity...and eat a few cookies.
8 send emails to a bunch of photography forum peeps reminding them to submit recipes to our Photographers cookbook

the car starts, but the key won't come out again, AAA guy says I need to take it in somewhere and get a new ignition
2:20 I let the car sit idle in our driveway...Michael would flip, but oh well.
3:10 car still idle, kids movie is over, I tell 'em to get shoes on and get in the car
3:30 drop tyler off at piano...drive around with matthew and alyssa and stop by candida's house
tell her my scenario and that I'm gonna take it to the dealership and just rent a car...she offers her white mini van (she just got a new van and they haven't sold the old one yet).
wow...how nice...I take her up on it
4 go get tyler from his first lesson (he was all smiles)
4:10 back to candida's, she sends 3 of her kids to a neighbors and follows me to the dealership up a few miles north on the interstate
4:30 drop off the car, unload my kids, load them into her new van
BREATHE
4:45 back to her house, get her white van, load my kids into THAT one
hurry home b/c Sister missionaries come to dinner at 6
5 my neighbor Clair offers to pick up anything at the store for me and I tell her french bread and 2 frozen apple juices
5:15 make spaghetti casserole and mini choco cookies
bread and juice delivered by clair's husband, Brad
Michael home
Quick clean of the house
5:50 Sisters come just a bit early
we finish cleaning the kitchen
6 sit down to dinner
nice chat, but I have a headache
6:30 they shared a message about Abinidi and ask the kids if they know who he is, Matthew says, "He was killed by the bad King Noah" and Tyler says "by fire" and the Sister says, "but his message was heard by a good Priest of Noah" and Tyler says, "Alma" to which they amazingly said, "yes, wow you really know this one" to which I just sat and smiled:)
7 they left...time to do our "fun jar" activity that never got done b/c of all the chaos: blindfold taste testing...it was a lot of fun, thinking of different things to put into each others mouths...a test of trust, too. Tyler and Matthew really got into to:)
7:25 Michael got the kids ready for bed, I took Tylenol, laid on the couch for a minute
we read scriptures, prayed, and sent the kids to bed
7:30 Alyssa and I watched a few minutes of "mommy's show" and then I walked her and Strawberry back to bed singing "popcorn popping" all the way back. As I said goodbye, she reminded me as she does every single night (doy=door) "Leave my doy open, leave the brothers doy open, leave your doy open, leave everyones doy open." It makes me smile coming from her cute 2 year old voice.
7:45 I get on the computer, my mind numbing activity...and eat a few cookies.
8 send emails to a bunch of photography forum peeps reminding them to submit recipes to our Photographers cookbook

10 pray with michael and send him to bed

The first official Day of Summer!

7:45 am tyler comes into my room with his fake $5 to wake me up saying he's ready for a snack. When I question whether or not he just had breakfast and find that he did, I suggest he wait on the snack.
8am Curios George and Clifford on PBD
9 tv off, Nathan L. over to watch while mom and sister go to the doctor
I work on sophie blessing picts on the computer
10 computer off...play "house" in alyssa's room, and she likes me to chase her with the shopping cart and pretend we are sleeping
10:30 have a talk with the boys about being kind to each other
11 stacy and julia come back...chat for a bit
11:30 lunch with kids
12 head out to a play group with the baird children (they have boy boy girl the same age as ours, plus a baby)
hang at their house
12:30 to the stone canyone pool (realize we hadn't been there since going with marianne and linda 3 years ago)
hang at the pool, kids having fun, chat with Jennifer, Cerie comes and chats, too
2:50 leave
(key was stuck in the van, covered it with a shirt and locked with my spare)
to HEB to get just a few things
run into Grace from Tyler's 1st grade class and her mom
run into other school moms
at checkout, the man behind me commented on how "she needs a nap" and I notice Alyssa nodding off while sitting in the grocery cart...I pull her to my shoulder to briefly rest
3:33 pm we get in the car to go home, alyssa was asleep by the time we left the parking lot
Once at home, change, shower, sit on couch
time for our fun jar activity: watch old home movies of tyler and matthew as a baby...it was so fun, laughs and giggles. Matthew said, "I want to hold baby Matthew." Hmmmm, how will that happen?
5pm make Lemon Chicken for dinner with rice
5:30 Michael home...tell him about our fun day
6 family home evening: "It's nice to be important, but its more important to be nice."
More home movies and snickerdoodles
