The baptism day
Church

5 Baptism--lots of ward family supporters
Amazing
Great musical number with flute: J.S. first prayer
Dan went down under water twice
Stacy once, said Nathan: "why does he get to go 2 times and mom only once?" Laughter from the group. Nathan knows the primary songs so well:)
Linger with them and watch everyone congratulate them. Smile.

easy low key Sacrament Meeting:)
Tyler sat with Great Grandpa and sang the hymns with him
Ward Conference--Lights sit on their own bench
Stacy takes my grandma around church since I'm in Primary and my mom is home
Shows her to R.S. and even introduces her for me:)
I teach sharing time in front of stake primary...no biggy:)
Teach on bible stories

Lights and Steeds come over for lunch to get to know my grandparents
nice chatting: Food storage, story of my ancestors joining the church, church history

alyssa sick on my lap and sleeping in my bed...warm, won't eat medicine.

4 mom and grandparents say goodbye...the boys really had a nice time with them, special to have them here.

5 home, michael out with bishopric and stake presidency on visits
7 michael and i go to ward adult fireside
great talks: President Brown talked about counciling with his children and asking them to "bring their scriptures" also thought about a yearly family scripture as a theme on a plaque and have many throughout the years
9home, mom at HEB shopping for us
10 all to bed

decorate room and help tyler pass out valentines while the rest of his class is at recess

10:25 to library for valentines party...thinking i was early, found out i was late:

feel ill...aunt flow

certain person shows unkindness, as usual, even though i try to show kindness

michele take my kids to her house, i cry alone in the car just a little
take care of frustration #2 and go online to buy my lens (always feel a bit better when i can spend some $$$)
12:30 to michele's to lay on her couch and fegge while kids play
1:50 rush back to my house for 2pm visiting teachers...they don't show

read 7 pages of book of mormon
2:35 head back to micheles to get my kids

my medicine finally kicks in
3:10 meet stacy at the park
tyler a bit sad, so build tunnels in the sand
a kid knocks it down, tyler is sad

7 michael wakes me up to alert me that all 3 children are asleep next to my bed...when matthew came in at 3:30 am, alyssa was already there (i didn't realize it) he told me he had a bad dream about mr. robinson (from "who broke my window" CD) so i told him to lay down there..not sure when tyler came in...got a cute picture

Eventful Week
Sunday
7:37 up...micheal set an alarm for the boys to wake me:) he was at a meeting
get kids ready, flat iron my hair
8:50 early to church, yay
Testimony meeting...sit wit Lights
Primary
Family Search intro combined meeting...left primary to go
home, michael stays for meeting
while still fasting make: 7 layer dip, nilla wafer/vanilla pudding icebox cake, limeaid for our "non superbowl family party" later on
2 michael home and i sit....
family help make pigs in a blanket
eat blankets on blanket--picnic in living room
m and i eat 7 layer dip
5:20 becca calls to invite us over for blueberry pie
6 kids get ready for bed
6:30 to the blacks for dessert and conversation and play guitar hero on the keyboard
8:30 head home...kids to bed
i read Our Heritage while Michael emails the elders quorum and talks to his parents
10 get online for a few minutes
10:20 michael and i read conference talk (we try to each night) and go to bed
Saturday
michael not feeling well but still took boys to pick up dan and nathan to go to the church for service project: spread mulch
alyssa and I read books here, play kitchen, watch strawberry shortcake/computer to update my website
10:20 boys home, michael rests on the floor while kids play and i finish my updates
11:30 I take the kids out of the house so michael can nap...we try to get our garage door opener from the rental place that i left in our rental car, but it had already been transfered to a new location...ugh!
to Target for plastic drawers for aj and groceries
to walmart for a few more things
1:30 home, get ready for the race...boys so excited for their 1st race! Mardi Gras 5K
2:15 lights come to our house to caravan to the race
3 we finally get there after traveling through hill country for a while
3:30 kids fun run begins: 1K I started to run their "trial run" then figured they'd be ok to go alone...tyler and matthew ran really fast, ahead of most kids their age...they love to run!
4 adults race...dan and Michael run while we cheer them on...
they came in FAST and running together...over all, Michael placed 12 and Dan 16th...Michael got 1ST place in his age category!!!! (30-34) SO exciting! (Go Daddy Go!)
His award was a mardi gras mask
kids eat free popcorn and cotton candy and got balloons swords in a holster and jumped in a jumpy house that deflated on them
5:30 we left the race and went out to eat at The County Line
Yummy ribs and sausage:)
7:30 we head back to round rock after a fun day
8:15 rent the Waitress at HEB...kids to bed...watch movie
10:45 to bed
Friday
10 to monica's (candida's neighbor) to plan michele's baby shower, she made yummy blueberry muffins and i watched her make Icebox cake with nilla wafers and vanilla pudding so i got the recipe
12 visit candida who was supposed to be at the planning meeting but was sick..prepping her house to sell
12:30 head out, go with alyssa and matthew to the Avery Ranch Park for an hour to play, just the 3 of us
1:40 back home, relax for a bit til we need to get tyler
2:45 pick up tyler at school
3 home...michael came home shortly thereafter after buying new running shoes for himself (early friday)
4 our van is ready, so go to pick it up (all alone) and say goodbye to the nice rental we had
stopped at Jack in the Box on the way out and get myself a Texas Cheeseburger and curly fries...It had been a while since i indulged:)
5 back home, but decide to sit in my car for a bit and read my book, Our Heritage
7 kids to bed, Michael and I watch LOST season premiere that we taped the night before
m to bed early...I stayed up til 12 working on updating my website and props message board
Thursday
7:30 tyler to school (we listen to teh Bobby Bones show on the radio every morning and the boys start to ask for him and "lunchbox" a guy on the show
dressed and to the gym, yay!
alyssa sad at first to let me go until we got her binky out of the car (we leave it in there now, weining her off)
8:30-10 workout while watching Ellen and reading a magazine
shower cartoons, computer
11ish michele and jackson come over with lots of shakes for me (our exchange, i pay for something for her, she gets me shakes)
we go to YMCA to sign the boys up for soccer
2 they head home
2:45 we go get tyler at school
jobs and homework and after school snack
Haystacks again for dinner (3rd night in a row)
play Sequence with the kids and michael
scriptures, prayer, bedtime routines
7 vegge with michael and chat
8:30 stacy meets at my house, emily comes over, too we pick up candida and michele to go see the late movie, 27 Dresses...cuter than i thought (i wanted to see it but nervous about profanity and such with friends)
11:45 back home, bye to friends
